Seventh Annual CPA Garden Tour

The Cabbagetown Preservation Association’s annual “Hidden Gardens and Private Spaces” event will be held Sunday, June 2nd, between 10am and 3pm. During the course of the day, participants will have the chance to visit 10 private gardens from around the Cabbagetown Heritage Conservation District. Using the map on the back of the ticket, visitors will guide themselves around the neighbourhood, interacting with each other and with the gardeners from each home. Gardeners are open for questions and will provide residents with valuable information on utilizing space, dealing with wildlife, and picking materials/plants/soils. Cabbagetown Tour of Homes is currently seeking volunteers!

This year’s annual “2012 Cabbagetown Tour of Homes” is currently seeking volunteers to participate in this year’s exciting tour! There are currently 8 fantastic homes this year to showcase. The Cabbagetown Preservation Association is now looking for volunteers to make this another spectacular year! Volunteers will receive a complimentary ticket to see all the homes following the public viewing — from 4pm to 5pm. An “After Tour Party” with homeowners at a residence in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood will follow after, with details of the party to be released upon confirmation of your volunteer status. Cabbagetown People – Commemorating Remarkable Lives

I had the great opportunity to be part of a historic walk in Cabbagetown showcasing some of it’s great residents. The walk took about 1.5 hours to complete over side walks as we walked through streets and alleys. This gave me a chance to show case the different styles of houses that are nestled in Cabbagetown and show the in my video.
