James Cooper Mansion by Tridel

James Cooper Mansion is located on the corder of Linden and Sherbourne and was built circa 1881 for a wealthy shoe retailer and importer, James Cooper.  Sherbourne is adorned by multiple mansions as such but it recently became centre of attention when Tridel announced to build a 32 story building  structurally relocated the mansion from it’s original spot to make space for underground parking and the building.  More information about the building below.

The mansion sustained some damages during the move.  You can see pictures of the damage here.
