Abandoned Bicycles in Toronto

As a part of the city-wide spring clean-up, the City of Toronto will be taking abandoned bicycles off of the streets to keep bike parking available and the roads uncluttered. If you think that you have found a bicycle that looks abandoned — cracked frame, flat tires, missing parts, or has been chained to the same place for over a month — call 311 and provide the city with as many details as possible.  Those that are reported will be removed immediately unless the state of the bike is undetermined. Cabbagetown displays ills of social housing

Boarded up homes are an issue for any neighborhood as it takes away from the esthetics of the area and does a disservice to the neighbors.  If the neighbor causing the issue is the City of Toronto, I believe the city should sell the buildings off and let a private company come in to fix up the space. The city if projecting to fix these worn out homes with $238 dollars per unit which is laughable.  Our residents spend ten times that per year in maintaining their properties.
