The Cabbage Cutting Opening Ceremonies The ceremonial cabbage cutting is what officially opens the 37th Cabbagetown Festival of the Arts. It takes place Saturday Sept. 7 promptly at 11am on the TD Main Stage. Tomorrow is the Cabbagetown Annual Blair’s Run. It’s the 34th mini-marathon that kicks off the Cabbagetown Festival of the Arts activities with an early morning run to raise funds in support of the Cabbagetown Youth Centre. Registration is $10.00 and starts at 8:30am; race time is 9:45am. Immediately following the race the Awards Ceremony will take place on the TD Main Stage, hosted by Marilyn Marshall.
