What’s On?
As usual, Kendall & Co. has a few new things to check out over the summer. Come in this week and discover their beautiful Ceramic Torpedo vases, which would make a lovely addition to any home. Similarly, if you are in the mood to redecorate, check-out the Eclectisaurus‘ Danish teak table; a 52″ by 93″ mid-century delicate piece of furniture, guaranteed to enrich the likes of any room. Lastly, pop into Barracuda to find a great selection of home decor and glassware at an incredible price — summer’s here and it’s time to liven up the home.
Saying Goodbye
MJG Gallery is packing up and heading for Leslieville. As Mark prepares for the move, he is selling paintings at up to 75%-off. Now’s the time to pick-up a parting gift and to have something in your home to remember MJG Gallery by. Let’s wish him the best of luck in his new location.
Under the Table
As we part with one Cabbagetown business, we are blessed with another: Under the Table has moved in at 568 Parliament Street. Kim and Betty make a great hostess/chef duo, serving delectable brunch and entrée style meals throughout the week. Currently, the restaurant’s liquor license is pending and the website is under construction.
Cabbagetown Updates
On Saturday, July 20th, the Cabbagetown Preservation Association in conjunction with Heritage Toronto will host a neighbourhood walk along the south side of Don Vale, passing-by notable sites such as the Gerrard Street Toronto Greater Hospital and Spruce Street Co-op. Learn about Cabbagetown’s astounding architecture and history by participating in the CPA’s first walk of the season.
