I had recently added a new business listing for Winchester Kitchen and finally went down to see the place yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised that they maintained the interiors as close to the original as they were. I was worried that the new owners might try to make the place look something it’s not. Winchester Hotel is a landmark of Toronto and it needs to maintain its persona as a place where Al Capone used to frequent.
Here’s my review:
A great new spot in Cabbagetown. I’m a big fan on the building (Winchester Hotel) and really wanted to see a great business blossom here.
Winchester Kitchen is definitely serving up to its name. Great food and amazing hosts. I had the chicken trio which I can say is the best I’ve ever had. The chicken was moist and full of flavor and well worth the money spent. The four fruit desert was delicious too!
I would highly recommend anyone in the area to check out this gem of a building and its new occupants.
Will definitely be going back there again!
